Mole removal
Most people have moles. Some are born with them and some moles appear during our lifetime. Most moles do not need removal. It is only needed once they cause changes in size, shape, colour or sensation. When this occurs, your GP can send you to an NHS hospital and you can most likely have this removed in the NHS. We will also be able to remove it for you, should you prefer to have this done privately or if you simply want it for cosmetic reasons.
This operation can be done under local anaesthesia. The operation will leave you with a scar. The risks of the operation include infection, bleeding, recurrence. In some cases, you may develop a bad scar; this is often dependent on the way you make scars and the location of the scar.
