Body Contouring
Over the years, our body changes with age, weight and other life events such as pregnancy. To help regain your body shape and confidence, we offer body contouring surgery, dependent on your body shape and needs. This varies from abdominoplasty with our without liposuction, liposuction only, arms and thigh lifts.
Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck: this procedure is ideal for those who have lost weight or had a pregnancy, resulting in excessive tummy skin and soft tissue. An abdominoplasty can help correct the overhang, which can not be shifted with diet and tummy exercises. Which types of abdominoplasties (mini, full) you need will be dependent on your body shape. Occasionally, there is a need to combine this with liposuction. This will be dependent on your body shape and will be discussed with you during the consultation. Liposuction: removal of fat, via small cannulae inserted through your skin, can be performed on its own or in combination with an abdomioplasty. It is best to have this procedure for localised fat areas that just won't shift despite having lost the fat in other areas. Armlift or reduction (brachioplasty): is a procedure where excess upper arm skin and soft tissue (often known as bingo wings) are removed. Excess skin can be a result of weight loss but also as a result of aging where skin looses its laxity. Thigh lift: Excess skin and soft tissue can also occur in the upper thigh region as a result of aging or following weight loss. This can be addressed with a thigh lift. copyright © 2013 Anita Liem |
